We have previously been running an Exchange 2007 server on site. All the mailboxes was migrated to our Office365 a couple of months ago. We still have the old Exchange server, but it’s disconnected from the network and has not been used since the Office365 migration.
Recently we found out that two of our mailboxes was not migrated to Office365. I am now trying to export the mailboxes to a PST file from our old Exchange 2007 server. Since the server is no longer connected to the network I get this error when I am trying to use the Exchange Management Console, our if I try to use the Exchange module in Powershell:
Domain domainname cannot be contacted or does not exist.
I am afraid the Exchange server will cause problems with our new Office365 configuration if I connect it to the network.
Is there any way to export a mailbox from the Exchange server without a connection to the domain?
The server is a virtual Windows server 2008 running Exchange 2007.
