I hope everyone can help out. I am having an issue with my deployment to Exchange 2013. I have deployed 2 CAS servers which are being load balanced. The issue I am having is that when trying to access the legacy mailboxes externally the page legacy.mydomain.local cannot be found. Internally everything functions for both legacy mailboxes as well as mailboxes on the 2013 mailbox servers. Externally 2013 mailboxes login correctly, however the proxy fails when rerouting to the legacy 2007 servers. I get a page could not be found.
From my reading, all of the proxying and rerouting should be internal and a public IP for legacy should not be required. I can ping legacy from my NLB without issue. I must be missing something basic here.
