Exchange Server 2007 and Fax issue ?

Hi All,

I'm reading the following release notes for the Exchange Server 2007 SP3 http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff607233%28EXCHG.80%29.aspx it says that:

• After you apply SP3, your fax system may stop working. This issue occurs if you use a fax system that usesinband fax tone. When SP3 is installed, it replaces the existing UMGlobConfig.xml file with a new copy of the file that contains default settings. To resolve this issue after you install SP3, edit the new UMGlogConfig.xml file to make sure that the EnableInbandFaxDetection value is set to true.

Since I do not have any Unified Messaging role in my current Exchange Server deployment, does it affect my 3rd party application like RightFax ?
