hi guys ,
i have below setup and need to verifiy few things for decommision.
Root Domain ( abc.com , win2003 FD/DF ,4 DC's ) - SM, Domain NM - DC1.abc.com )
Exchange Organization Level administrators - abc.com root Domain , Exchange Server for root domain - Ex1,Esx2,etc..)
Child Domain ( zxc.com , win2003 DF - 4 DC;s ) - PDC, RID, infrastractrure - DC2.zxc.com )
Child Domain Exchange Servers, EXCAS1,EXCAS2,EXMBX1,EXMBX2(CCR ) -Main Site -- EXDR-CAS1,EXDRMBX1 (DR)
child domain is managing by myself and root domain is managing by other administrators,
so my problem is , lets say we moved all resources to new envirometn ( by cross forst ) and need to decommision child domain Exchange and Domain Controllers, can u use my Domain administrator accoutns( zxc.com ) and decommision my Exchange Servers( only Exchange Servers which are belongs to zxc.com Domain ) /Domain Controllers without any Credinetions/involvemnet from Root DOmain Administrators.
if Root Administrator need to do some things, what are things need to be done and what is the credential and delegation requirement for them to remove our Exchange.
