Public Folder Migration 2007 to 2010.

Hi,

I have searched through the forums (and Google) and not found anything that works.

I have a Public Folder database on an Exchange 2007 server that I’m trying to move all the replicas to my Exchange 2010 PF database. I have done the following:

  1. Added the 2010 PF database to the replicas of the folders on the 2007 database and waited several days for it to replicate. I have 7 PF’s that will not completely replicate everything.
  2. Run the MoveAllReplicas.ps1 (This removed the 2007 server as a replica on the folders and left only the 2010 server.)
  3. When I run a Get-PublicFolderStatistics on the 2007 server I still see 7 PF’s that I cannot seem to get to move/replicate to 2010.
  4. I have tried adding them (2007) back as a replica and “Update Content” but it’s not completely syncing.
  5. I have turned up the logging and all I can find is the below. (I do not have a folder called 1-2754C9AEF1C.)

Error 0x8004010f occurred while generating an outgoing replication message.

Type: 0x4

Folder: (1-2754C9AEF1C)

Database "PFdatabase".

I’m looking for an article that will help me figure out and fix this. If it’s a corrupt message/items (most of the 7 PF’s are calendars), then I’m looking for an article on how to find the specific items and remove it.

If I cannot find and fix the item causing the issue then I would like to understand how to delete the 7 PF’s on 2007 without deleting what has replicated to 2010.

Any help would be appreciated.

Kevin
