Hi all,
In an effort to better utilize my Exchange 2010 infrastructure I went to install the Hub and CAS roles on a mailbox server today and the installation went okay, but I received an error in the setup stating the following:
[01/02/2014 13:56:26.0499] [1] [ERROR] The following error was generated when "$error.Clear(); $InternalOwaUrl="https://" + $RoleFqdnOrName + "/owa"; new-OwaVirtualDirectory -DomainController $RoleDomainController -InternalUrl $InternalOwaUrl;" was run: "Web object 'Exchange' already exists.".
I searched this and didn't find much on the Internet, but I did find the suggestion to remove/recreate the Virtual Directories. This makes sense as if I look at the "Client Access" tab under "Server Configuration" all of the tabs (OWA, ECP, etc) are all blank.
I went to try and create a new OWA website but I received the same error: "Web object 'Exchange' already exists."
What can I do to resolve this?
Additionally, I am running Exchange 2010 SP2 (can't move to SP3 yet) with Update 5 v2 (installing the newest update next weekend).
Thanks in advance!
