How many days we can keep the transport server queue - What is the Size limit in MB\GB for transport server to hold emails in 2007 Exchange

Hi All,

We are undertaking maintenance for 3 days.

Hence we will be shutting down all of our email servers for 3 days. We do not have DR.

So my query,

1. How many mails can be kept in the queue (Internal Emails)

2. Is there a size limit for the transport queue to keep the emails.

We set the Transport server to hold the delayed NDR email to 72 hours and 3 days for email Expiry.

Apart from this,

1. If any one internal user sends an email to Internal IDs & External IDs - Where the emails will be stored till the servers gets up?
