Errors when opening Exchange Powershell on the server

Hello,

Sorry if this is a repeat question, but anything I have found already is from 2009 and doesn't appear to be a solution.

I updated the server and now I get errors when opening Exchange Powershell (and EMC) on the server.  I've tried to uninstall the updates and backing up the state of the server.  This is a 2008 Server with Exchange 2010.  The DC is a 2003 Windows Server.  Any help is appreciated.

It also takes the server 20-40 minutes or more to reboot and login.

The error:

VERBOSE: Connecting to 2008SERV.ServicesInc.local

[2008serv.servicesinc.local] Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message : The WinRM client received an HTTP server error status (500), but the remote service did not include any other information about the cause of the failure.
