I have a client who we are trying upgrade from Exchange 2007 SP1 to SP3. The upgrade was running fine, until it got to the Hub Transport and then it crashed with the Exchange SP3 setup has stopped working and it pointed to Exsetupui. The setup logs had messages about accessing protected memory. Most things still seemed to work ok afterward, there were some issues with OWA and ActiveSync and I was able to fix most of them and mail is flowing and mailboxes can be accessed.
We are still having an issue with OWA showing a blank page instead of the login form.
The Management Console shows it is running Exchange SP3 so its mostly installed but there are still minor issues. I understand that Exchange Service Packs can't be rolled back so I need to run it to completion. When I restarted the setup, this time it started with the Hub Transport but failed with the same error.
This server is part of an Exchange Organization with several other servers in remote offices. Each server has all roles installed. Can anyone help?
