At my company we're running into the following problem. We are trying to setup an MS FS for Exchange 2010 based on 2 separate Windows Domains (-> organization relationship). The external (DNS) domains are within each others namespace domain 1) example.com& 2) fr.example.com. An external DNS lookup gives us the correct (txt for the FD's), but the MS domain-proof gives us an inconstant result. The two domains (sites) have no other link (or form of trust) between them, and are separate forests. The internet domain names however come form one and the same DNS server running the TLD.
