I inherited a County Govt that Exchange 2010 and the DC, DNS, and DHCP are all on the same 2008R2 server. Through research it looks like migrating the DC to another 2008R2 server with a new name and IP will be the easiest way to try to fix this problem. My concerns are that I can migrate the DC, DNS, and DHCP roles over and deal with the client computers issues with DHCP and such but I am worried about what changes will need to be made to the current Exchange 2010 Server when I make the move. Since DHCP and DNS will not be on this server and will be on a new 2008Rw2 with a different name and IP I am not sure of all the changes and things that need to be taken care of on the Exchange 2010 server once the DC that is on it is demoted.
Thanks in advance for any help that you can give me to prepare Exchange 2010 when the DC, DNS, and DHCP changes are made.
