A little about the enviroment. 

1) 2003 exch - old domain
2) 2007 exch - old domain
3) 4 2003 DC - old domain

I built 
1) 2012 exch - new domain
2) 2 2012 dc - new domain 

My organization wants a NEW domain. 
We have about 300 users. 
I can send mail from old exch to new exch, & all that jazz. 
I was attempting to move a test account and I am getting this error. I have worked on this error for 3 days, so now I am asking for help. 
Please let me know if you need any other information to assist me. 

I am running New-MoveRequest -Identity 'testaccount@xxx.com -Remotelegacy -RemoteGlobalCatalog 'xxx.xxx.com' -DomainController olddomain.com -TargetDeliveryDomain newdomain.com 

The error I am getting is: Active Directory operation failed on olddomain.com The supplied credential for NT Authority\System is invalid. 

I have an issue with users unable to login to OWA or ActiveSync using trusted domain credentials. I have two forests, FOREST A and FOREST B. I have a 2-way forest trust between them. I have migrated users from FOREST A to FOREST B, but their mailboxes need to stay in FOREST A for the time being.

I have added Full Mailbox access for their FOREST B accounts, as well as Send As permission.

Outlook accesses their mailboxes no problem, with no security credential prompts. Sending is also fine. However, OWA and ActiveSync will not accept their FOREST B login credentials, I get the following error:

The Active Directory resource couldn't be accessed. This may be because the Active Directory object doesn't exist or the object has become corrupted, or because you don't have the correct permissions.

I have a single Exchange 2010 SP2 server in FOREST A. All roles are on this server.

Why would Outlook clients work but OWA and ActiveSync are failing? Things I have checked:

• DNS suffixes for trusted and trusting domain are set on the Exchange Server
• Trust is in place and functional
• Outlook clients work fine using FOREST B accounts
• Changed OWA authentication options between UPN / Domain\User / logon name only - no options worked
• Checked time sync between DC's and Exchange

Hello,

   I have a client who we are trying upgrade from Exchange 2007 SP1 to SP3.  The upgrade was running fine, until it got to the Hub Transport and then it crashed with the Exchange SP3 setup has stopped working and it pointed to Exsetupui.  The setup logs had messages about accessing protected memory.  Most things still seemed to work ok afterward, there were some issues with OWA and ActiveSync and I was able to fix most of them and mail is flowing and mailboxes can be accessed.

We are still having an issue with OWA showing a blank page instead of the login form.

The Management Console shows it is running Exchange SP3 so its mostly installed but there are still minor issues.  I understand that Exchange Service Packs can't be rolled back so I need to run it to completion.  When I restarted the setup, this time it started with the Hub Transport but failed with the same error.

This server is part of an Exchange Organization with several other servers in remote offices.  Each server has all roles installed.  Can anyone help?

abc123.co.za - Forest with Exchange 2010 SP3 CU 6 (Or UR6) + 1 Cas server

bca321.co.za - Domain Exchange 2013 CU 6 1 MBX server with two frontend servers

ab.bca321.co.za - Sub domain with exchange 2013 CU 6 all in one box

I'm trying to move a mailbox from the exchange 2010 server to one of the exchange 2013 servers but keep getting the following error

It was working perfectly a few weeks ago. Now we just can't move anything. Any idea what could be up? Have tried creating a new mailbox on the 2010 and moving that, get the same error, but moving a mailbox on the bca321.co.za domain to another DB on the Exchange 2013 box goes through fine. And moving it to the exchange 2013 box in the sub domain goes through fine too.

Edit: Just tried to move a mailbox from The exchange 2013 in bca321.co.za to the exchange 2013 box in ab.bca321.co.za and it disappears from the migration batch.

Any idea what could be wrong?

EX2013 SP3 UR4 Single-Server on WS2012.

EX2013 SP3 UR's 5 and higher have all started to install, then rolled back to UR4 after installer runs for 20-30 minutes. Failure code is 80070643. I see this was once an issue with EX2010 where WMF 3.0 was installed, but this was addressed by EX2013 SP3.

I have to post bogus URLs because when I post real ones, the forum software rejects them saying my account isn't verified. Not sure how I go about getting it verified, but here's the sanitized version. Replace | with /:

http:||windows.microsoft.com|en-us|windows|windows-update-error-80070643#1TC=windows-7 shows this is commonly associated with .Net issues. I'd consider running .Net Repair Tool before UR installation, but per https:||support.microsoft.com|kb|2698555 it doesn't support anything higher than WS2008 R2 SP1.

Anything else I should try?

Exchange 2013 SP no DAG. A couple of days ago we migrated from one exchange 2013 sp1 server to another exchange 2013 sp1 server. This new server seems to running fine with the exception that the old DB is in the new server's queue viewer:

New DB is mailbox database and the other DB is the old DB. How do I get the old DB out of the queue. The old exchange server has NOT been removed/uninstalled. We want to keep the old server (powered off) for a couple days to make sure things are working OK.

I am trying to install Exchange 2007.  I believe that I have followed all of the prerequisites and other items that are necessary to install it.  However, I keep getting the error below.  I am sure that I am doing something wrong so I would greatly appreciate it if someone would let me know if they have run into this error and what they did to fix it.  I have gone through all of the TechNet articles and other items that are available online here.

I don't see much information about this error on the internet. Only one in Technet and it is related to Exchange 2010 and besides the question is unsolved.

I am trying to install Exchange 2007 SP3 over Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise.

It goes all fine until the Hub Transport Role installation throws that error message.

I thought of this:

1-Two ISA Servers in between but then I removed the feature "Strict RPC compliance"

2-The Schema master DC is located in another site.

I restarted the two ISA servers and the DCs, just in case it was a very temporary issue, but didn't work.

location no 1(central site): 3 servers in DAG with Public folder DB(PFDB01) on it 

Remote location no 2: 1 standalon server with HB/CAS/MBX roles and having PFDB02 mounted on it

Remote location no 3: 1 standalon server with HB/CAS/MBX roles and having PFDB03 mounted on it

Requirement: our requirement is to decommision the 2 standalone servers and migrate all the data to central site. here the mailbox migration went thru fine as it was easy for us to migrate all the mailboxes from remote location to central site.

Now my question is how shall i migrate the PF DB from both the remote location to central site and decommision those standalone servers.

I am trying to install exchange rollup 7 sp3 on our Exchange 2010 server. It is currently setup on Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise edition x64. I Couldnt post the fill windowsupdate log file so just pasted anything that looks important.

When installing from windows update i receive an the following error code 80070643
